Damn your guitar skills are good

Is it me, or is your guitar tuned half a tone down!?

These are the kind of tips I need and will use as a newbie to playing acoustic guitar. Ty!

Strange progression. I guess the A7 dominant chord is supposed to be implied after the secondary dominant E.

What a wonderful story, Andy. It reminds me of my father, who was a trained classical guitarist but loved to play metal-- his biggest inspiration was Yngwie Malmsteen. He spent years trying to get a band going, and it never panned out. He actually told me a story about how he'd met the guys of Sum 41 during one of his bands recording sessions before the other mentioned band had blown up (this was in Toronto in the early 90s I believe). He never got the shot he wanted, he ended up with a family and had to seek out regular work, but he did land a great teaching gig at some local academy. He too was surprised by the great money he made, he'd often mention how he felt it was unreal he made 60 or so dollars an hour often to teach kids how to play basic chords from the popular bands of the day (Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Blink 182, etc.,) But, people are paying you for your knowledge and expertise. He did have some students who were going into classical guitar, so he got to teach Bach, Paganini, some Antonio Lauro. One of my favorite pieces my dad would play was Vals Venezolano No. 2 by Antonio Lauro. Maybe one day I'll pick up the guitar as well, but I got the writing bug instead. Anyway, love your channel and I really enjoyed these little stories.
